Johannelunds Teologiska Högskola

Johannelunds teologiska högskola is a theological seminary, located in Uppsala, Sweden. It was founded in 1862, and from 1863 to 1968, the seminary was located in Bromma, near Stockholm. Since 1970, it has had its home in Uppsala and offers its education in cooperation with Uppsala University. Today there are about 150 students at the school, most of whom are preparing for ministry in the evangelical-lutheran Church of Sweden.
The seminary is owned and run by the Swedish Evangelical Mission (In Swedish: Evangeliska fosterlandsstiftelsen) and was started as a training institute for inland and overseas missionaries. The current principal is Dr. Lars-Göran Carlsson.
