Jozef Chovanec (born March 7, 1960 in Slovakia) is a Czech football player and later a football manager. He played for Czechoslovakia.
He was a participant in the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
As a football manager he coached the Czech Republic from 1998 to 2001.
He is currently chairman of Sparta Praha.
