[edit] Above her head
Her indoor World record of 2.08 m (6 ft 10 in) is 33 cm (13 in) more than her height of 1.75 m (5 ft 9 in). And since according to Guinness the record for women in this feat belongs to 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in) tall American Yolanda Henry, who has jumped 2.00 m (6 ft 6¾ in), or 32 cm (12¾ in) over her height; Bergqvist's performance should be a record in this aspect as well.
Though Niki Bakogianni of Greece jumped 2.03 m (6 ft 8 in) in the Atlanta Olympics of 1996 for the silver medal, and her height was listed at 1.70 m (5 ft 7 in). So it could be a tie.
Interestingly, Bergqvist's compatriot Stefan Holm has likewise equaled the men's best performance for the very same feat. And he too did it indoors.
