KLVX (Channel 10 analog, 11 digital) is a PBS member station serving the Las Vegas, Nevada, market. KLVX is licensed to the Board of School Trustees of the Clark County School District and operated by the KLVX Communications Group. KLVX carries the distinction of being one of eight television stations in the United States licensed to a public school system.
KLVX began broadcasting on March 25, 1968 as Nevada's first public television station. Their transmitter is located atop Black Mountain in Henderson, Nevada.
KLVX was rebranded in September 2006 as "Vegas PBS" to reflect multiple-channel and multimedia services provided to the Las Vegas area in addition to broadcast channels 10 and 11.
