Knoxville Christian School is a private K-12 school in western Knoxville, Tennessee.

The school was started by local Church of Christ members in 1969 and moved to its present location in 1979. The school was limited to the elementary grades until recent expansion.

The school intergrates various chapel services and bible classes into the normal subject matter. The current director of KCS is Matthew Amos. In 2002 KCS had an enrollment of 121. [1]

Knoxville Christian School currently offers athletics programs in several sports. For girls, programs are offered in volleyball 5th-12th, separate programs in basketball for boys and girls 5th-12th, co-ed soccer 5th-12th, and co-ed golf 6th-8th. Other boys athletic offerings include flag football 5th-7th and high school football 8th-12th. Cheerleading may be added soon. [2]
