Krøderen (lake)

Lake Krøderen, or Krøderfjord as many call it, stretches about 41 km north from the village with the same name and reaches north to Gulsvik village in Flå municipality in Hallingdal. It has a surface area of 42.88 km² and a depth of 119 meters. The most important river flowing into it is the Hallingdalselva (Hallingdal river or Halling valley river) in the north. Its outlet is via the Snarumselva (Snamum river) at the south end of the lake.
At Noresund (along Riksvei 7) there is a bridge over the lake at a point where is it 200 meters wide.
