Lake Mohave is a lake formed by Davis Dam on the Colorado River, which defines the border between Nevada and Arizona in the United States. The lake lies at an elevation of 647 feet near Laughlin, Nevada, about 67 miles downstream from Hoover Dam. It is part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, and is found east of the Cottonwood Valley. The dam was built to re-regulate releases from Hoover Dam to meet downstream needs, but it also provides hydroelectricity and recreation, including boating, swimming and water skiing.
