[edit] Personality and Traits
Lamia is known (in the Advance universe) for having a somewhat stilted speech pattern, because of the damage to her language system. Later on, Lemon fixes her language system, and she is able to talk normally. In Original Generation 2, she simply has a very polite form of speech, similar to a maid.
Lamia is very calm and relaxed, but also a bit awkward socially. In Original Generation 2, she is very close to Excellen Browning (whose remains were used in Lamia's universe to create Lemon Browning, creator of the W series). She sometimes has trouble understanding human behavior, such as when Excellen gets Buddhas and hot cakes confused in the saying "Like a Buddha in Hell."
[edit] Storyline
Lamia's story is very similar in both of the games she has appeared in, with the only major difference being the team which she is a member of. In Advance, she is a member of Londo Bell, a team composed of characters from several Mecha Anime series. In Original Generation 2, she is a member of the ATX Team, which is composed of Banpresto Originals from other Super Robot Wars games.
[edit] Advance and Original Generation 2
Lamia is an artificial human, built by Lemon Browning, and sent by the Shadow Mirror to spy on whichever team you are playing as (either Londo Bell, in Super Robot Wars Advance, or the ATX Team, in Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2). She is the 17th android of the W series that Lemon builds, which is why the Shadow Mirror forces refer to her as W17.
Halfway through the game, Lemon and Vindel, the leader of Shadow Mirror, ask her to come back, but she refuses, saying that whichever team you are playing as has made her realise that what Shadow Mirror does is wrong and then self-destructs her mecha, driving the two away (although you still have to fight off a large Shadow Mirror force).
Afterwards, it is revealed that Lemon actually rescued Lamia after she self-destructed. Following this, Lemon reveals to Lamia in a conversation that since she is the only one to discover free will, she is the most successful out of the W series. She is then secretly given her mecha back and is allowed by Lemon to rejoin your forces.
In Original Generation 2, after Vindel is defeated, she and Gilliam attempt to transport Vindel to a faraway dimension, where he will never be able to return from. In the Advance storyline, she activates the dimension transposition bomb by using the Zweizergain, in an attempt to stop Axis from falling onto the Earth.
In the epilogue of both games, Lamia tries to kill herself, as she believes that if she is dead, all of Shadow Mirror will have been destroyed. However, she is stopped by her comrades. In the Original Generation 2 storyline, she joins Kai and the School Kids.
[edit] Original Generation : The Animation
In the Original Generation OVA, Lamia is abducted (along with the School Kids and Kusuha) by Professor Jurgen and the Bartolls. She is placed in a Bartoll, which, thanks to the ODE system equipped in the Bartolls, give all of them piloting skills equal to her own. This makes them a formidable opponent for the ATX and SRX teams. She is later rejected by the ODE system after she refuses to submit to it, and is instead put into one of the manned Bartolls. Afterwards, she is rescued by Kyosuke and taken back to the Hagane.
