Talk:Leandro

My expertise is not in this area, but I'm guessing this guy is the same as Leonardo Nascimento de Araujo? If so, make the redirect. The JPS 23:31, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Moved from article
Only in Brazil could a right back be as flamboyant as Leandro. In 1982, he was the star-studded Brazilian team's unsung hero, a secret weapon capable of delivering decisive crosses to the forwards, or indeed taking a pop himself. He also had an ability to dribble past players and probably covered more ground than any other player in the team - he could often be found in the outside left position, yet would get back to defence when needed. A principled man, he refused to go to Mexico after a disagreement with the coach Santana. Their loss.
In my opinion, the above edit by 62.69.57.130 contains POV issues substantial enough to remove this from the article.
If someone more familiar with the subject matter can add to and rewrite the above in a way that feels less like a "glowing review" of the person and more like a factual account, then feel free to do so.
