Lovedrive is an album by the German rock band Scorpions, released in 1979. The album is notable as it was the one on which virtuoso guitarist Michael Schenker (younger brother of rhythm guitarist Rudolf Schenker) nearly rejoined the band.
The risqué cover, created by the design firm Hipgnosis, caused some controversy upon the album's release. Initially it was sold wrapped in paper; later pressings bore a simple design of a blue scorpion on a black background.
