Martin Albrechtsen (born 31 March 1980) is a Danish professional football player who currently plays for West Bromwich Albion. He usually plays as a left back, although he can also play in the centre of defence.
He started his career at Danish club AB, for whom he made his debut in the Denmark national football team in 2001. He moved to the defending Danish Superliga champions FC Copenhagen in 2002. His performances for the club led to a move to the English Premier League, when he was sold to West Bromwich Albion for £2.5 million in June 2004.
