Martin Ohm

Martin Ohm (1792–1872) was a German mathematician and a younger brother of physicist Georg Ohm. Ohm was the first to develop the fully develop theory of the exponential ab when both a and b are complex numbers in 1823. He is also often credited with introducing the name "golden section".
