Mazari tribe

Mazari (Balochi: مزاری ) is a Baloch tribe in Pakistan situated on the border area of Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab.Rojhan-Mazari, a town in Rajanpur District , is the capital of Tuman Mazari and the stronghold of the Mazari tribe. It is one of the oldest tribes of the Baloch.
Other Major cities of Tuman Mazari include Miranpur, UmerKot, Shahwali, Kin, Kot Kehwali, Kashmor, Guddu, Sonmiani, Razi Kucha, Nabi Shah and Bungla Iccha.
The Mazari Chief holds the title of Mir and also goes by the styles Tumandar and Sardar. Mir Balakh Sher Khan Mazari is the current Paramount Chief and Tumandar of the Mazari Tribe. His brother ,the prominent politician , Sardar Sherbaz Khan Mazari ,is a respected elder of the tribe.
Other prominent figures of the Mazari Tribe are;Sardar Shaukat Hussein Khan Mazari, Sardar Farhat Aziz Khan Mazari,Sardar Sherazam Mazari, and Sardar Salim Jan Khan Mazari.
The Mazari Tribe consists of many sub-tribes such as; Balachani, Mistakhani, Gulsherani, Essiani, Nazahni, Jorkhani, Sendhani, Selathani, Sarghani, Sahakani, Dulani, Danwani, Lathani, Sodwani, Gandi, Banu, Chongli, Kheerd and Miroi.
The Mazari Chief Family is known as the Behramzai.Sardar Behram Khan and sardar Karam Khan were brothers Braham Khan was elder so he became to Chief of Mazari family.
The Mazari Sub-Clan Family Karamzai were living in rojhan but due to some political reasons they left rojhan and migrated to Kot Karam Khan in State of bahwalpur which is currently now in Distt Rahimyar Khan in punjab province in 1896.Where they established a town.sardar Gul Mohammed Khan,Sardar Fouj Ali Khan,Sardar Mannu Khan and sardar noor ahmed khan Mazari were the Aplha's.Now a days Kot Karam Khan is a union cousil and the present Nazim is Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan Mazari.Contested Two times and won both turns.Other famous personalities in Kot Karam Khan were sardar Sadiq Mhammed Khan,Sardar Minhaj Khan,sardar Lutfullah Khan,sardar Shakeel Khan,sardar Zameer Khan.karamzai Family Holds A great respect In area politically,socially among the other neighbouring peoples.
The Mazari Chief Family are the direct descendants of Mir Jalal Khan, the last Chief of the entire Baloch Nation and the King of Kech Makran, through his eldest son Hoth and grandson Mir Sahak Khan, the first chief of the Mazari Tribe.
The Mazari Tribe commands a great deal of respect amongst the Baloch Community of Pakistan as well as other ethnic groups of the region such as Sindhis and Pushtuns.
