Melissa McClelland

Melissa McClelland (born ca. 1979 in Chicago, Illinois) is a singer-songwriter who lived in Burlington, Ontario, Canada in her youth, and now bases her career from Toronto.
Her song "Rooftop" was featured on the 2005 soundtrack CD of the television series Degrassi: The Next Generation. She recently performed as the opening act for Matthew Good's solo acoustic tour. She also worked previously with Sarah McLachlan, providing backing vocals at her live shows. McLachlan makes a guest appearance on the song "Go Down Matthew" from McClelland's new album Thumbelina's One Night Stand.
McClelland married Luke Doucet on June 24, 2006. The couple played together on numerous stages at the 2006 Calgary Folk Music Festival where Doucet introduced McClelland as his new wife.
