Melvyn Gale is an English Cellist
He was a cellist for the Electric Light Orchestra from 1975 replacing Mike Edwards until Jeff Lynne stopped using cello players in 1979. He was removed from the group, along with Mik Kaminski and Hugh McDowell, in 1979.
