Mike Pearson (American football)

Mike Pearson (born August 22, 1980 in Tampa, Florida) is an American football player who currently plays offensive tackle for the Houston Texans. He was a three-year letterman at the University of Florida, where he received school’s offensive leadership award in 2001 and was two-time Southeastern Conference All-Academic selection. Pearson played in 33 games with 31 starts, including two bowl games: the 2001 Orange Bowl and the 2000 Sugar Bowl. He was drafted in the 2002 NFL Draft by the Jaguars.
