Hi - excellent stuff on Modulation (music)! I've kept meaning to expand some of those theory-type articles, but, well, I've been saying that for two years now and I keep finding other things to do instead. I hope you'll do much more round here. By the way, if you need help with editing or anything like that (looks like you've got the hang of it, but you never know), you can stick a question at the bottom of the Wikipedia:Help desk and somebody will (hopefully) answer it. Or you could peruse the collection of Wikipedia:Help pages - I think you get a prize if you find what you're looking for within a week ;). All the best--Camembert
- Thanks! Good to come here and find other music theory geeks around... maybe I'll get off (on) my lazy butt and write some more. As for the labyrinthine help pages... I see what you mean. :-) Mindspillage 20:30, 28 Jun 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Public Health Podiatry
Thanks for putting in the additional info about Public Health for podiatry. I'm a practicing podiatrist but know very little about this particular board. DO you ? or do you have an interest enough to take ownership ? Thanks . drgnu23
[edit] Raelism
I reverted the change you made to raelism. If you don't agree with, please let's talk about it, but don't just rerevert it, it's useless and a loss of time for both of us. Perhaps my contribution wasn't perfect, as it was the first on wikipedia, but the statements can be verified. The other explanation I can find is that you're yourself raelian and then... where is the NPOV ?

Thanks for fixing it... Slip of the copy-and-paste button, I guess. Tuf-Kat 00:21, Aug 30, 2004 (UTC)

I remember you! How's it been? It's been a long time since I've seen you. You should come back. You'd blow everyone away. -Branddobbe 21:49, Sep 4, 2004 (UTC)

[edit] Tampa Wikimeet
Pardon the impersonality; I'm pasting this on every Wikiuser's page who lives in eastern Florida. We're scheduling a Wikimeet this Saturday, September 11. Jimbo still has to decide the place but he's looking into Panera Bread locations here in Tampa. Please post on User:Jimbo Wales and tell us if you're interested in coming. Thanks! [edit] Gadsby
Quite valiant :) It's a pity that we can't do away with the author's name, nor the "E" in "External links", though the latter we may be able to work around. Dysprosia 10:00, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)
[edit] Article Licensing
Hi, I've started a drive to get users to multi-license all of their contributions that they've made to either (1) all U.S. state, county, and city articles or (2) all articles, using the Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike (CC-by-sa) v1.0 and v2.0 Licenses or into the public domain if they prefer. The CC-by-sa license is a true free documentation license that is similar to Wikipedia's license, the GFDL, but it allows other projects, such as WikiTravel, to use our articles. Since you are among the top 2000 Wikipedians by edits, I was wondering if you would be willing to multi-license all of your contributions or at minimum those on the geographic articles. Over 90% of people asked have agreed. For More Information:
- Multi-Licensing FAQ - Lots of questions answered
- Multi-Licensing Guide
- Free the Rambot Articles Project
To allow us to track those users who muli-license their contributions, many users copy and paste the "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" template into their user page, but there are other options at Template messages/User namespace. The following examples could also copied and pasted into your user page:
- Option 1
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions, with the exception of my user pages, as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
OR
- Option 2
- I agree to multi-license all my contributions to any U.S. state, county, or city article as described below:
- DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual
Or if you wanted to place your work into the public domain, you could replace "DualLicenseWithCC-BySA-Dual" with "MultiLicensePD". If you only prefer using the GFDL, I would like to know that too. Please let me know what you think at my talk page. It's important to know either way so no one keeps asking. -- Ram-Man (comment| talk)
