Mount Kongō

Mount Kongō (Japanese: 金剛) is a 1125 meter high mountain in the Senshu region of the Osaka Prefecture, Kansai, Japan. It is near Mount Katsuragi.
The mountain lends its name to a series of naval ships and ship classes: the 1877 corvette Kongō; Imperial Japanese Navy's battleship Kongō, the nameship of its class; and the current Kongō class destroyers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force.
