Mount Nemo Conservation Area
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mount Nemo in Burlington, Ontario is a conservation area owned and operated by the Halton Region Conservation Authority. It is popular with rock climbers in the Greater Toronto Area, along with nearby Rattlesnake Point Conservation Area. Its five kilometers of hiking trails connect with the Bruce Trail.
The park's rural location away from the road makes it a target for vandalism. In November 2005, vandals set fire to its gatehouse and fire crews were unable to salvage it. In March 2006, a replacement gatehouse was also set on fire.
