Narayan Rane

Narayan Rane (मराठी:नारायण राणे)(born April 10, 1952) is a former Chief Minister Maharashtra. He was a member Shiv Sena until July 2005 when he joind Indian National Congress party..
In July 2005 Narayan Rane launched a revolt against Shiv Sena along with 9 other MLA's which eventually resulted in his expulsion from Shiv Sena.On July 3, 2005, he was expelled from the Shiv Sena . On July 23, 2005, he resigned from the Maharashtra legislative assembly.
Narayan Rane has since joined the Congress Party and won the re-election for the Malvan constituency on a Congress ticket on the 22nd November, 2005.
