Nate Wright

Nate Wright played professional football from 1969-1980, earning All-Pro honors at defensive back in 1974 and 1976. He career consisted mostly of time as a defensive back with the great Minnesota Vikings teams of the 1970s. He totaled 34 interceptions and three fumble recoveries in 156 professional games. He was an All-Conference player from two years at San Diego State University before turning pro.
He was the famous defensive player who was illegally pushed off of by receiver Drew Pearson on the infamous Hail Mary pass, Dallas vs Vikings 1975 NFC semifinal playoff game.
