Niagara Frontier

The Niagara Frontier refers to the the stretch of land south of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie and extending westward to Cleveland, Ohio. This only includes the land east of the Niagara River and south of Lake Erie within the United States. The western side of the Niagara River on the Canadian/Ontario side is referred to as the Golden Horseshoe/Greater Golden Horshoe.
Quite literally it is the land along the Niagara River and south shores of Lake Erie. It is part of the region known as Western New York and Upstate New York. The portion of Ontario just across the Niagara River is known as the Niagara Peninsula.

- Erie County, New York - includes Buffalo, New York
- Chautauqua County, New York
- Erie County, Pennsylvania - includes Erie, Pennsylvania
- Ashtabula County, Ohio
- Lake County, Ohio
- Cuyahoga County, Ohio - includes Cleveland, Ohio
