Nickelodeon Family Suites
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nickelodeon Family Suites is a Holiday Inn hotel in Orlando, Florida near the Universal Orlando Resort and two miles from Walt Disney World Resort. The hotel reopened Memorial Day weekend, 2005. It has 777 suites, 2 pools, and multiple entertainment and dining areas.
The hotel is themed with properties from the Nickelodeon television channel, and had adult-themed Nick at Nite suites although no longer available. It was founded by Terry Whaples of Give Kids the World, and has since been sold to Miller Global of Denver, Colorado.
Ironically, the Nickelodeon Studios attraction at Universal Studios Florida closed only a few weeks before the reopening of the hotel.
Note-The hotel originally opened in 1999 under the name Holiday Inn Family Suites.
