To do: add Songhay languages. - Mark Dingemanse (talk) 12:40, 26 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- Why does this map not include Nilo-Saharan speakers in Northern Sudan/Southern Egypt and SW Eritrea/NW Ethiopia? I.e. speakers of Nubian along the Nile and Kunamas in Ethiopia and Eritrea and Nara in Eritrea. Could you please recitfy this, Mark? Thanks. — ዮም | (Yom) | Talk • contribs • Ethiopia 18:01, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

- Good point. The reason is probably that the grid of the map is too coarse, but I'm willing to add some yellow dots representing those languages. However, I do not have sources available currently and I am also quite busy. Could you maybe send me a few reliable sources indicating the spread of Kunama and Nara? (Nubian I can do myself since I wrote Nobiin language and already created this map some time ago.) Thanks, — mark ✎ 18:37, 9 November 2006 (UTC)
