Noothgrush
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Noothgrush is a sludge metal band with a very heavy, down-tuned and down-tempo sound and lyrics grounded in misanthropy. Noothgrush formed in early 1994 in San Jose, California. Their musical approach encompassed self-hatred and contempt, as well as Star Wars and political consciousness. The band's name comes from the Dr. Seuss book entitled There's a Wocket in My Pocket!. Noothgrush disbanded in 2001.
