Northbridge is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It contains a historic stone bridge.
Northbridge is located on Sydney's lower North Shore, sandwiched between the suburbs of Cammeray, Castlecrag and Willoughby. A wealthy suburb, Northbridge is home to many large waterfront houses which overlook Sailors Bay and Middle Harbour.

Before European settlement, Northbridge was home to the aboriginal tribe known as the Cammeraygals (of which Cammeray is named). There are currently no surviving members of the tribe residing in the suburb. Northbridge is so named because it was the first suburb built north of a newly constructed stone suspension bridge from Cammeray in the 1800s.

Today, one can find a wide array of shops and restaurants in Northbridge, as well as churches (mostly Christian), schools, pre-schools, a shopping centre, an 18-hole harbour view golf course, a sailing club, a marina, salt water baths, scout and girl guide halls, parks, ovals and local reserves. A local biketrack has been recently installed where many children ride their bikes over jumps.
St. Philip Neri Catholic School is a primary school in Northbridge, Sydney, Australia. It is a Catholic parish school founded in 1925 by the Sisters of Saint Joseph, the Saint Josephites. It is a small school with 7 classes, from Kindergarten to Year 6. The current principal is Mrs. Jennifer McCarthy, but she is retiring at the end of 2006, and there will be a new principal.[1]
