Nottingham Marathon

The Nottingham 'Robin Hood' Marathon, is a race in Nottingham, England held every year since 1981.
From 2002 onwards the race has started and finished from the Victoria Embankment (Nottingham) taking in some of Nottingham's most historical and scenic sights. Organisers are working on an improved route for the 2006 Marathon perhaps incorporating the Nottingham University Campus.
In 2005 Runners World Magazine readers voted the race the "Number 2 Marathon" in the country.
The Nottingham Marathon events are open to people of all ages and ability:
- Marathon - Full 26.22 miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- Fun Run - 2.5 miles
- Wheelchair Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
