- Originally routed from 6 miles north of Alliance to Yale along current unnumbered road. [2]
- Deerfield to 5 miles north of Palmyra was route 627 from 1938-70. [2]
- In 1932, rerouted from Atwater Center to Edinburg along previous route 80 and current route 183. [2]
- In 1938, rerouted from Alliance to 3 miles north of Yale along previous unnumbered roads and current route 225 from Alliance to 6 miles north of Alliance and a current unnumbered road from 6 miles north of Alliance to 3 miles north of Yale. [2]
- In 1970, rerouted from 6 miles north of Alliance to 5 miles north of Palmyra along route 224 from 6 miles north of Alliance to Deerfield and previous route 627 from Deerfield to 5 miles north of Palmyra. [2]
- 6 miles north of Alliance to 3 miles north of Yale decertified in 1970. [2]
