Palestine is an unincorporated community in Wirt County, West Virginia, United States; it is located at 39° 1' 48" N, 81° 24' 25" W, along the Little Kanawha River. It has an elevation of 712 feet (217m), and a population of approximately 1,000. Its ZIP code is 26160. Palestine gained notice in 2003 for being the hometown of Jessica Lynch.
