Paulo José Lopes de Figueiredo (born 28 November 1972 in Luanda, Angola), nicknamed Figueiredo (pron. IPA: [fiɣɐi'ɾeðu]), is a football midfielder with dual Portuguese and Angolan citizenship, who currently, as of August 2006, plays for the Swedish club Östers IF.
Figueiredo was born in Angola, but has lived in Portugal since he was three. In 2003, he was invited to play for Angola, and returned for the first time in almost 30 years to the country of his birth. He was called up to the 2006 World Cup.
After the World Cup campaign, Figueiredo joined Östers IF.
