Talk:Peacekeeper (Farscape)

I earlier wrote: "Peacekeepers subscribe to an ideology of racial purity". On second thought I'm not sure that's quite the way to put it. The truth is, I haven't seen enough of Farscape to describe their ideology (other than empire-building). A-giau 18:54, 21 Oct 2004 (UTC)
- I'm changing that. Aeryn was deemed contaminated by contact with them as criminals, not as alien species. --Barry 11:53, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)
Couple points to make for anybody else wanting to edit this. Keep in mind that Sebacean and Peacekeeper are two different things, and Peacekeepers aren't a race. Yes, most Sebaceans are Peacekeepers, and most Peacekeepers are Sebacean, but not always. --Barry 11:53, Oct 25, 2004 (UTC)
Any non-Sebeacean PK has been allowed in for special reasons. Remember when Scorpy was admitted? Almost all PK's are Sebecean, but I would disagree with "most Sebeacens are PK's", it would seem to me that most Sebeceans are civilians. BigFatDave 00:11, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- Indeed. As a matter of univeral truth, any large and advanced military organisation will always require the support of a civilian popuation several orders of magnitude larger. Even with other races being forced to provide material support... they will still need logistical personnel.
