[edit] Philosophy Project collaboration of the month

[edit] This Month

There was no collaborations June.

[edit] Nomination and Voting Procedure:

Please:

  1. Vote for the collaboration of the month by signing under the article of your choice with ~~~~.
  2. Add new candidate collaborations (articles, tasks, etc.) to the bottom of the list. Even if your idea does not win this month, it might in the future.
  3. Each participant is limited to making one nomination per month, even if a previous nomination is already on the list.
  4. Voting for an article implies that you are willing to participate in the winning collaboration of the month. Voting for an article is not equivalent to a request for other's to fix the problem for you.
  5. Vote for only one article at a time.
  6. You are welcome to change your vote by deleting it and re-signing.
  7. Votes are tallied at the end of the month, and the voting slate wiped clean. Place a new vote each month.
  8. The article with a simple majority will be the Collaboration of the Month. In the case of a tie, the election remains open until a deciding vote is cast, or the following month arrives, whichever comes first.
  9. If a candidate collaboration doesn't get any votes, it is removed at the end of the month, but may be renominated.
  10. For your convenience, a separate nomination/voting section for the Star of Sophia has been transcluded at the bottom of this page.
  11. Update WikiProject Philosophy's collaboration entry on the Community Portal#Current collaborations.

[edit] The candidate collaborations for August are:

Irrealism --cfp 13:46, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

Willard Van Orman Quine --Sam 00:49, 28 August 2006 (EST)

[edit] Star of Sophia

The Star of Sophia is awarded by the Wikiproject philosophy community to editors who make an outstanding contribution to philosophy on the Wikipedia.

Unlike Barnstars, the Star of Sophia is not presented by individuals, but by acclamation. Only participants in WikiProject Philosophy are eligible to vote (ie, those who are listed on the Philosophy WikiProject Participants Roster).

Nominations may be placed in the list below. Those who receive three votes receive the award, and will have the star placed on their user page, and their names recorded for eternity in the Philosophy WikiProject Hall of Fame. No self-nominations nor self-votes please.
