PLM College of Human of Development

In pursuant of the Board Resolution No. 2467, the Departments of Psychology and Social Work, and the former College of Education was placed under one roof on November 04, 2002. The newly formed College of Human Development of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, under the leadership of its Dean, Dr. Virginia N. Santos, and Secretary, Mrs. Dolores C. Maaliw, is subdivided into six (6) departments, and they include the Department of Behavioral Sciences, the Department of Family Sciences, the Department of Home Economics, the Department of Nutrition, the Department of Social Work, and the Department of Teacher Education.

The College provides leadership, professional development, research and resources to advance education in the tertiary level. It also addresses concerns that affect students, families and society; and, helps students of diverse abilities pursue life-long learning and achievement.
