Pontestura is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50 km east of Turin and about 35 km northwest of Alessandria. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,539 and an area of 18.9 km2.[1]
Pontestura borders the following municipalities: Camino, Casale Monferrato, Cereseto, Coniolo, Morano sul Po, Ozzano Monferrato, Serralunga di Crea, and Solonghello.
