Pontoon (Pont Abhann in Irish) is a lakeside village in County Mayo in Ireland, situated between Lough Conn and Lough Cullin, and near the town of Ballina. The area is scenic and there are several hotels in the area.
Reportedly named for a pontoon-type bridge present in the area c. 17th century but long since vanished.
