HH Princess Tamara Laura Czartoryska-Borbón (born April 23, 1978) is the daughter of Prince Adam Czartoryski-Borbon, who was born and raised in Spain with his cousin, King Juan Carlos of Spain. Being a daughter of a Czartoryski and a Picciotto, normally she would be called Czartoryska y de Picciotto in Spanish culture. No explanation is available why some call her a Borbon.
Tamara descends from the Spanish kings in a way: she is a direct female-line descendant of infanta Luisa Fernanda, Duchess of Montpensier, the younger daughter of king Ferdinand VII of Spain (reigned 1813-33).
Tamara left school at the age of 15 to pursue a career in show jumping. Her sporting achievements have led to presenting a Thai Kick boxing show, as well as Granada and Celebrity Five Go Dating. She is a snowboarder, water skier, and skydiver.
In March 2005. Tamara was one of the contestants on series three of The Games, and won the bronze medal.
She has been said to be in contact with Simon Abney-Hastings, Lord Mauchline, Son of Michael Abney-Hastings, the 14th Earl of Loudoun whilst in Australia during mid 2005.
In 2006, she was on Australian Princess (an Australian reality TV show) giving advice to competitors.
