Pudahuel

Pudahuel (Mapudungun "place of pools/water" or "place where seagulls gather") is a municipality ("comuna") of Chile located in the province of Santiago, in the Santiago Metropolitan Region. It has an area of 197.4 km², a population of 195,653 (2002 census) and an average household income of $17,116 in PPP US dollars (2000). Santiago's international airport Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez is located there.
