Ray Wise

Ray Wise (born 20 August 1947 in Akron, Ohio, USA) is an American actor, known for his roles in Twin Peaks (as Leland Palmer) and RoboCop (as Leon Nash). In the late sixties and seventies, he played attorney Jamie Rollins on the soap opera, Love of Life.
He made an appearance as Liko in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Who Watches the Watchers", and later played Arturis in the Star Trek: Voyager episode "Hope and Fear", and played Michael Dugan, President of the United States, in the computer real-time strategy games Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 and its expansion Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge. He appeared as the demon Ludlow in The WB television series Charmed, for the episode "Lost and Bound". He also portrayed 1950s CBS News anchor Don Hollenbeck in Good Night, And Good Luck, a film written by, directed by, and starring George Clooney. He has briefly appeared on The West Wing as California governor Gabriel "Gabe" Tillman and is currently featured as Vice President Hal Gardner on the acclaimed FOX series 24. In August of 2006, Wise made a guest appearance in the TV series Bones (FOX) as the primary suspect of the first episode (The Titan on the Tracks).
After the end of the 5th season of 24, it seems likely that Wise will reprise his role of Hal Gardner for the 6th season.

Wise currently resides in Southern California. He has two children, Gannon and Kyna.
