"Reflections" is the second scheduled single to be released from Mary J. Blige's up-coming greatest hits album, Reflections: A Retrospective[1]. Bryan Michael Cox confirmed to MTV that the song will be the album's second single in November 2006 and will be a mid-tempo record made in a similar vain to "MJB Da MVP", a radio-only single taken from The Breakthrough: "that joint is crazy, talking about her life, where she comes from. It's similar to "MJB Da MVP" but it's more personal"[2].
