Ribe Amt (English: Ribe County) is a county (Danish, amt) on the Jutland peninsula of in southwest Denmark. It includes Denmark's fifth largest city, Esbjerg. On January 1, 2007, the county will be abolished and become part of Region Syddanmark (i.e. Region South Denmark).
