Rick Kelly

Rick Kelly (born on January 17, 1983 in Mildura, Victoria, Australia) is a V8 Supercar racing driver, currently living in Melbourne, Victoria. He currently drives for the Toll HSV Dealer Team and has previously contributed to winning at the Bathurst 1000 alongside Greg Murphy in 2003 and 2004. His current team mate is Garth Tander.
In 2006 Rick has been one of the strongest performers throughout the season. Starting off well by coming 2nd in the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide, he has been extremly consistent with many points scored in every round so far. He is yet to win a round this season. Two terrific finishes in the Sandown 500 and Bathurst 1000 leave Rick in 2nd place behind Craig Lowndes at the top of the Championship standings.
His team Toll/HSV also currently leads the teams Championship over Team Betta Electrical.
At the recent round at Gold Coast, Rick closed the gap in the lead to his rival Craig Lowndes witha generally strong weekend where Lowndes seemingly faltered.
After a strong performance and Craig Lowndes being unluckily caught up in a crash on the first lap of Race 1 at Symmonds Plains, Rick Kelly now leads the Championship by 73 points with 2 rounds to go.
