Robin Singh pronunciation , full name Rabindra Ramanarayan Singh (b. September 14, 1963, Princes Town, Trinidad and Tobago) is an Indian cricket player who had most of his appearances in one day internationals.
Although he was born in Trinidad and Tobago, Robin spent most of his cricketing career in India. Robin made his debut in one day internationals against West Indies on March 11, 1989. However he had to wait another seven years to find a regular place in the team. The cricketing world witnessed his talents when he made his second coming memorable. Robin is best known for his commitment towards the game, but he was an excellent lower order batsman and tidy medium-pace bowler to boot as well as a superb fielder. His ability to 'finish' matches (usually along with Ajay Jadeja) made him an integral part of the side that competed in the 1999 Cricket World Cup.
Robin Singh currently stays in Adyar, Chennai. He also played cricket for Tamil Nadu state.
He is currently the coach of the Indian Under-19 Team.
