Rockledge is a borough in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,577 at the 2000 census.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 2,577 people, 1,060 households, and 645 families residing in the borough. The population density was 2,842.8/km² (7,428.9/mi²). There were 1,091 housing units at an average density of 1,203.5/km² (3,145.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough was 97.98% White, 0.04% African American, 0.04% Native American, 0.97% Asian, 0.31% from other races, and 0.66% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.58% of the population.
There were 1,060 households out of which 28.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.3% were married couples living together, 7.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% were non-families. 34.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 12.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.43 and the average family size was 3.24.
In the borough the population was spread out with 23.6% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 32.3% from 25 to 44, 21.0% from 45 to 64, and 15.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 91.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.9 males.
The median income for a household in the borough was $47,958, and the median income for a family was $55,455. Males had a median income of $40,349 versus $32,100 for females. The per capita income for the borough was $21,232. About 1.8% of families and 3.0% of the population were below the poverty line, including 0.7% of those under age 18 and 8.8% of those age 65 or over.

Rockledge has a city manager form of government with a mayor and a seven-member borough council. The mayor is Kenneth Costello. The Borough Council President is Joseph Denelsbeck. The Borough Police Chief is James Leary. The Borough Manager of Rockledge is Keith Truman.
The borough is part of the Thirteenth Congressional District (represented by Rep. Allyson Schwartz), the 170th State House District (represented by Rep. George Kenney) and the 4th State Senate District (represented by Sen. LeAnna Washington).
