Sam Mac

Sam Mac is an Australian radio and television personality.
After starting at local Adelaide radio station, FreshFM, he scored a job doing swing announcing on SAFM/TripleM Adelaide. In December 2002, he began hosting the evening shift on SAFM. In April 2003 he was moved to hosting Mid-Days on SAFM.
TripleM Adelaide changed from Classic Hits to a CHR/Pop radio format in November 2003. As part of this format change, Sam Mac was moved to TripleM where he hosted 'The Freq Show' with model Imogen Bailey.
When TripleM Adelaide and SAFM changed back their original formats in December 2005, Sam Mac began hosting afternoon drive. He was promoted once again in 2006, to anchor SAFM Breakfast program "Milly and Lehmo". He has since left this position as he has now moved to Sydney.
Aside from his radio work, he also did two seasons of 'Sam Mac's Single Bed' which aired on Channel31. He was also a nominee in the 2006 Cleo Bachelor Of The Year awards.
In October 2006 Sam Mac was picked up by Channel Ten to play a sidekick role on late night show 'The Big Night In With John Foreman'. Sam contributed humorous advertorials and various other funny segments.
Sam Mac is currently hosting of the Hot30 Countdown on the Austereo Network and is known for his off the wall questions and stunts with celebrities. It is not clear if he the permanent host yet.
