I'm a 18-year-old from Norway who has a strange affection for the game of cricket. As such, my major contributions have been to this cause, including:
- The Ashes
- 2005 English cricket season, 2005-06 Australian cricket season, 2005-06 West Indian cricket season
- Pakistanis in West Indies in 2005, Indian Oil Cup 2005, South African cricket team in Australia in 2005-06
- Irish cricket team, Norwegian cricket team
- Barbadian cricket team, Combined Islands cricket team, Leeward Islands cricket team, Windward Islands cricket team, Trinidad and Tobago cricket team, Jamaican cricket team, Guyanese cricket team
- Dhaka Division cricket team
- International cricket in 2005, International cricket in 2005-06
- Overview pages on English cricket seasons from 1890 to 1899
- Many stubs on New Zealand cricket captains, including Bevan Congdon, John Reid and Geoff Howarth
- Lists of Test, ODI and Twenty20 cricketers - e.g. Pakistan, South Africa
- Sri Lankan cricketers (private pet project): Ashantha De Mel, Somachandra de Silva, Ajit de Silva, Roy Dias, Mahes Goonatileke, Lalith Kaluperuma, Ranjan Madugalle (major rewrite), Duleep Mendis, Bandula Warnapura, Sidath Wettimuny.
I've also contributed to articles on motorcycle speedway, and I have an aim to improve at least some of the speedway articles to FA status. However, the main page still needs some serious cleanup and explanation.
Other sports (contributions - haven't started all of these):
- 1993 FINA Short Course World Championships, 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships
- Nordic skiing World Championships
- 2005 World Women's Handball Championship, 2006 European Men's Handball Championship, 2007 World Men's Handball Championship
- Started Lars Bystøl as stub
- European Speed Skating Championships, Clas Thunberg
- 2006 Winter Olympics: Alpine skiing, Biathlon, Bobsleigh, XC skiing, nations: DEN, EST FIN, GER, JPN NED, NOR, SWE, SUI
Away from sports:
- Heggedal; was a rather nasty hoax, thanks to Punkmorten we got rid of that and now there's a fairly decent article in its place
Inspired by Ambi and others, I have started a /10 Random Pages Test.
I keep getting called Sam Vines, for some infathomable reason. I suppose it must have something to do with Wikipedia's font. So just to clarify - it's Vimes.

Hats off to the person from Norway who puts us 'test' members to shame with his awesome contributions to the sport of cricket. May he lead the Norwegian cricket team to World Cup Victory! =Nichalp «Talk»= 18:12, August 22, 2005 (UTC) |
