Scott Brunner (writer)

Scott Brunner is an American writer, radio commentator, and real estate association executive. He is the author of Carryin' On': And Other Strange Things Southerners Do and Due South: Dispatches From Home, two critically-acclaimed works of non-fiction, and has been a commentator on Public Radio in Mississippi and National Public Radio’s All Things Considered.
A Bessemer, Alabama, native, Brunner is a graduate of the University of Montevallo and Auburn University at Montgomery.
He is the executive director of The Virginia Association of REALTORS in Richmond, Virginia, where he lives with his wife and their three children. He previously held a similar position with The Mississippi Association of REALTORS.
