Shane Johnson (cartoonist)

Shane Johnson is an editorial cartoonist whose work is distributed by Artizans Media Syndicate. Shane Johnson's cartoons are featured on the podcast Piggnation, a political video pod stream of weekly news reports and commentary.
For nearly five years, Johnson was the chief editorial cartoonist for the "Indiana Daily Student" at Indiana University. While at Indiana University he won Knight Ridder Tribune Syndicate's Best College Cartoonist Award in 2004. Upon graduation he compiled a collection of campus cartoons into a book titled "It's Over Already?"
In 2003, Johnson appeared on the Emmy-winning PBS children's television show, The Friday Zone. In addition to editorial cartoons, he has also worked on the comic strips Comfort Zone and Fratastic.
He currently lives and works in Indianapolis, Indiana.
