Sharon Creech

Sharon Creech (born July 29, 1945) is an American author, born in South Euclid, Ohio, and winner of the Newbery Medal and the Newbery Honor. She received a BA from Hiram College, and later, an MA from George Mason University. In 1979, she moved to England. She has two kids (Rob and Karin) and a husband named Lyle Riggs who is headmaster of The Pennington School in Pennington.
