Sheep River

The Sheep River is located in Southwestern Alberta, Canada. The river begins in the mountain valleys of Elbow-Sheep Wildland Provincial Park. It passes through the Sheep River Provincial Park and provides drinking water for the towns of Turner Valley, Black Diamond, and Okotoks, before combing with the Highwood River about 8km east of Okotoks.
