Slinkee Minx

Slinkee Minx are a dance act from Melbourne Australia, who formed in 2001 and are best known for their 2004 cover of Belinda Carlisle's "Summer Rain", which debuted at Number 5 on the Australian ARIA Music Charts.
Summer Rain spent 11 weeks at number one in the Australian ARIA Dance charts. Their second single "Closer" was also a Top 10 ARIA Chart Dance hit and Top 40 Australian ARIA Music Chart Hit. Slinkee Minx also performed at the 20th Anniversary SAFM Sky Show in Adelaide in front of approximately 150,000 people along with Guy Sebastian one of the largest open air concerts held in Australia in 2005.
Annemarie Failla, Michelle Palmer and Belinda Tartaglia make up Slinkee Minx. Musically, they are influenced by artists such as Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Modjo, and Moloko.
In support of their single "Someday" (which Debuted at #9 on the Aria Dance Charts), the Slinkee Minx show toured September and October, 2005. Their third Single "Someday" was also released in September 2005.
In 2006 Slinkee Minx have been busy in the studios working on their debut Album. Throughout 2006, "Summer Rain" and "Closer/Careless Whisper" was released in the US, UK and Europe across more than 50 countries. They are expected to commence touring again in late 2006 in support of a new single and the album release.
